Adult Lessons

Cayman offers the perfect conditions to learn to sail at the Cayman Islands Sailing Club on North Sound.

A beginner sailing course runs for four two-hour lessons spread over two consecutive weekends.

We use dinghies (Laser Picos) as our training boat. 

At the end of the course you are able to rent our boats to practice or just have fun on the water.

The cost is $250 per person.

All lessons are taught by certified sailing instructors and coaches. Certification is internationally-recognized. All safety equipment is provided.

Maximum class size is 6. Get a group of friends together and form your own group or we can put you in with another group.

Taster Lesson/Refresher
1.5 hr lesson $75 private, $50 per person for groups of 2-3. Please contact us to arrange a time.

Beginner Sailing Lessons (Pico)

These take place on Saturday and Sunday of two consecutive weekends. Maximum group size is 6.

Having completed the Pico course you can take a boat out on your own and sail around the idyllic North Sound.

Group rates are $250 ($200 for members) per person. Individual lessons can be arranged.

Intermediate and Advanced Sailing Lessons (Feva, Laser, Byte, or J/22)

On completion of your Pico course you can choose from a range of "next step" courses. Contact us for details

LEARN TO WINDSURF

There is a maximum of three per group.

Taster/Refresher
1.5 hr lesson $75 private, $50 per person for groups of 2-3.

Beginner 4 hr lessons:

Private: $300 ($240 for members)

2-3 persons: $250 ($200 for members)
